Maisto Tech Monster Drift #1 Car

The Maisto Tech Monster Drift #1 Car is a 1:24 scale replica of an actual drift car. It is a hobby-grade, AWD drift car made of plastic material. The car is powered by 4 AAA batteries and has a brushed motor type. It is recommended for ages 8 and up and can be used on hard, smooth surfaces. The product does not include a remote control. The car is part of the Maisto Tech product line and is made in China. This little car is deceptively fast and actually drifts very well on a very smooth hard surface like a gym floor. It's impressive AWD feature is not your typical toy car AWD, it's actually better, it's not locked AWD. All four wheels are driven forward while on the throttle but when you turn, brake, let off throttle or tap reverse, one or both of the front wheels can actually free wheel and turn slightly faster. This feature is typically on larger scale hobby-grade cars to provide extra steering traction.
